Teddy and Tabs are two cats who have grown up and shared their whole lives together. Until one day, Tabs gets ill and very sadly, dies.
We then follow what Teddy goes through in his grief to learn what sort of feelings arise, and how Teddy manages the whole experience. A positive, age-appropriate and uplifting view of loss. With thanks to Grief Encounter, a UK-based children’s bereavement charity, for their time and expertise to help me learn the best approaches and practices for counselling kids through grief.
*Please note, this video tackles issues of death and grief. Although I do this carefully and appropriately, and the story is a beautiful one, you may wish to watch the episode before your child to decide if you are happy for them to watch it too.
